Hi. We are glad that you are considering staying with us at Carrier Street Bed and Breakfast. Our names are Paul and Sherri Nilsen. Sherri will be your hostess and chef. Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves.
Sherri was born near Liberty, New York, but moved out of the area with her family to Byron, NY. Paul was born and grew up in Mahwah, New Jersey.
We met at Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, NY, where we both attended. Following graduation, we were married on January 1st, 1983. We began a new year, and a new life together!
Our more that 40 year journey together has brought us to live in diverse places including Derry, NH; West Middlebury, NY; Malaga and Riogordo, Spain; back to Mahwah, NJ; and now to Liberty. Paul has been a youth leader, pastor and church planter. Currently he pastors Cornerstone Community Church in Livingston Manor, NY, and recently retired from driving school bus for Monticello School District. He is also a published author. If you wish, you can read his novel, "The Fifth Seal" during your stay. Sherri has supported him in these roles and dedicated herself to raising our five, now adult, children. We are proud grandparents of ten.
Sherri enjoys cooking and making our home a place where people enjoy being. Some of Sherri's breakfast specialties include homemade breads, scones, coffee cakes and muffins. Breakfast will be delivered to your door in a picnic basket. Please let us know if there are foods you cannot eat.
If you have any questions or want to make a reservation, call us at 845-747-9624 or 201-396-6417, or e-mail us at carrierstbedandbreakfast@gmail.com.
Have a great day!
Paul and Sherri
