The journey to Carrier Street Bed and Breakfast by car is an easy and pleasant one. Route 17 (also Route 86), the main southerly route connecting the eastern and western extremities of New York State, passes within a mile of our location. It is a very scenic route.

From the New York City/New Jersey area: Travel Route 17/86 west to Liberty Take exit 100, Liberty. Turn left at the traffic light on the end of the exit ramp. Turn left again at the next traffic light, onto Route 52. Cross over Route 17, staying in the left lane. You will go around two small traffic circles, continuing straight on Route 52 (Mill Street). Turn Left at a traffic light onto Lake Street/Route 55. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Carrier Street. (the fifth road on the left after the light. If you pass Achieve Nursing Home, you've gone too far.) Take your third road on the right, turning onto New Street. Our driveway is the first one on the right. You will see the two yellow houses before you. You’re here! Unpack, unwind and enjoy.

From Binghamton and the West: Travel Route 17 (also Route 86) east. Take exit 99, bearing right off the exit onto Exit Rd. then turn left onto N. Main Street. You will pass through the village. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Lake Street/Route 55. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Carrier Street. (the fifth road on the left after the light. If you pass Achieve Nursing Home, you've gone too far.) Take your third right hand turn onto New Street. Our driveway is the first one on the right. You will see the two yellow houses before you. From New York City by bus: If you don’t have a car, or prefer not to drive, there is a Short Line bus terminal on N. Main Street, at the bottom of Lake Street. Buses arrive and depart several times a day for the New York City area, often by way of a transfer in Monticello. Please check on the current time schedule through Short Line.
