Carrier Street Bed and Breakfast is in a quiet community on the outskirts of and overlooking the Village of Liberty, NY. We are an easy walking distance from Liberty’s Main Street shops and services, and within a mile of Walnut Mountain’s 26 acres of recreational trails and the 3-mile Liberty Rail Trail. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area surrounding Liberty offers a variety of activities including hiking; mountain biking; swimming; horse back riding; golfing; fishing; hunting; sledding and cross-country skiing. The Catskills’ many hills, forests, rivers and lakes invite exploration, recreation and relaxation.

A 20-minute drive brings you to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, with its summer concert series and museum of the famous Woodstock Music Festival,  to Resort World Catskills Casino or to the Kartrite Resort and Indoor Water Park. If you’re not afraid of a little noise and dust, you might have some fun during the summer at the stock car races at Bethel Motor Speedway.

Suggested day trips might be to visit area antique shops , to go to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, or to visit the Roscoe "O+W" Railway Museum.

It may be that you will find that you don’t want to go anywhere at all. Rest and relaxation might beckon you. Read a book, watch a movie, or play a game, be it one of your own, which you bring from home, or one from our library. Eat out at one of the  restaurants in town, or prepare your own meal in your  kitchen. Take a nap in your suite, or relax in the yard or the gazebo.

If you have a need to be connected to the outside world during your stay with us, we offer a high speed, secured Wi Fi internet connection but bring your own laptop.

If you want to participate in a local church worship experience, we invite you to join us on Sunday morning at Cornerstone Community Church, or to visit one of the many other church communities in the area.
